One of my favorite websites to use has been ebates.com. What is ebates? It is a central website that has an exhaustive list of places that you normally shop at online. From now to september 15th, you can get a 5 dollar bonus for signing up. You get a second 5 dollar bonus if you make a purchase by september 15.

So how does EBATES work?
1. go to ebates website
2. search for your favorite stores
3. click directly from ebates site where you will go to the site that you chose
4. buy stuff from that site
5. ebates automatically tracks the discounts
6. every 3 months they send you a check.

E-bates seems like a good deal that leads to savings if you do shopping online. Frankly, I am doing more and more of that online for everything from clothes to sporting goods to insurance and banking. Thanks for the tip!
