Recently I’ve been having the worst case of constipation. I haven’t been getting my normal dose of fiber for a few days. Sometimes, the days are just better after a good shit. Thus I wanted to write about fruits and vegetables and how you can save a little money by thinking of the seasons by which these fruits and vegetables grow. When I went to sams and I saw that a bunch of bananas were selling for under a buck. Now I have too many frozen bananas in my freezer because I bought so much and I couldn’t finish them.
Best places to go to save money on fruit = farmers market, also watch out for coupons on your sunday newspaper. Another big thing if you have a big family is the community farm shares where you have fruits and veggies delivered to you everyweek by farmers in your local area for a set amount of money

This is exactly what I plan to do anymore. You can save so much money and become a lot healthier at the same time. It makes perfect sense.

Buying and consuming produce in season not only leads to health benefits, but it offers local business (farmers) some insurance that they can sell their goods without shipping them great distances. We are huge fans of the locally grown stuff here in Maine! It tastes a lot better, too, no less.
